It started as a simple kids program…

In January 2023, a team of youth from the States traveled to Naples to help organize a street children’s ministry. What started as simply playing soccer with the kids, doing arts & crafts, and sharing about the gospel turned into a desire to run a series of kids camps for the Ukrainian refugee children living there.

The first camp was run in the summer of 2023, the second in the winter of 2024, and the third in the summer of 2024. Serving alongside the local Italy team, we’ve seen the hearts of the children being changed and transformed with each camp. A few members of our team also had the opportunity to go and serve in an orphanage outside of Milan, working with Ukrainian orphans who were brought over during the war to keep them safe.

By God’s grace, we’ve continued to work with the team there and are heading back this winter to run another camp for the children. While the team for the winter camp is full, there are always opportunities to go and serve on a longer-term basis, so if you are interested in heading there for longer-term missions, reach out to us and we’ll be happy to put you in touch with the team who is currently serving there. If it’s on your heart, you can always partner with us financially as well to continue this ministry and serve the children.
